Every tasting was exceptional, with flavors that reflect both tradition and love for the craft. It’s clear that Villa Romana isn’t just a business; it’s a labor of love. We’ll absolutely be returning to stock up on more of their incredible wines.
My husband and I visited this winery with 2 other couples in August and so happy we did. The wines are spectacular; top notch. Ugo, Andria & Skyler made us feel so welcome, like family. Ugo is so knowledgeable, kind, a great storyteller and very passionate about his wine making. A must visit!!
If I could give more than five stars, I would. Not only for the beautiful venue and the delicious wine, but for Ugo himself. He has a knack for story telling and my partner and I felt so lucky to to have Ugo share his stories about wine, fishing and all of his travels. We can't wait to come back!
Ugo is wonderful ; a very charming man who is so passionate about his wines. And it shows. They are some of the best in Niagara. We were partial to the chardonnay and the sparkling red. Very unusual and incredibly tasty. I highly recommend a visit.
If you’re in the area, do yourself a favour and stop in here to try what may very well be the most incredible wines from Niagara region. The owner is a savant and really knows what he’s doing. We tried the flights, and the riserva red wine is probably the best wine I’ve ever had, and I’m not an easy critic. Couldn’t recommend more!
My husband and I visited Villa Romana Estate Winery yesterday and were greeted warmly by Ugo and Mark. We were blown away by their award winning wines!! Without a doubt, these have become our favourite wines and winery in the region!! Throughout our visit, Ugo and Mark entertained us with their stories about the history of their family and the winery, their logo, and the special events which they host on their beautiful property. It is very clear that this is a labour of love for them and that they are following their passion! We highly recommend that you visit this amazing winery and take the time to enjoy the fantastic wines produced by this amazing family! We cannot wait to return!
