Six of us stopped by on a Tuesday afternoon in mid November. There was nobody else around. The website indicates that it is wheelchair accessible however, that’s a bit of a stretch. It was very difficult to get in the front door and took two people besides myself in the chair to get in. The person at the door watched us struggle and did not even offer to hold the door open! We were relegated to a back room which had a pretty view. We each had either a glass of wine or a flight, but neither were anything to write home about. We were a bit disappointed because this is a local winery and we were expecting a little bit more attention to detail.
Terrible business owner unfortunately, so pretentious and inauthentic. I wouldn’t support this winery, great wine means nothing if you don't value customer service. Thank you raul for your great wine suggestions despite my terrible run in with your owner when asking about reservations This company needs some serious restructuring if it plans to survive especially in a region with so much competition that blows your customer service out of the water.
Splurged and did the full guided tasting. Well worth the time and price. The host was excellent and the range of wines showed off the winery's strengths. The current Gamay and Sauvignon Blanc are great wines.
Mackenzie Typer-Case was amazing! She knew all the answers to even our most obscure questions! She was friendly and knowledgeable! We’ve never been so happy with our experience at a winery! Thank you Mackenzie!!
Good wine but overpriced in comparison to other similar wineries in the region. The owner however is extremely rude and entitled. We arrived for my father's 70th to enjoy some wine only to be met with rudeness even though there was plenty of space to accommodate our group of 12 adults on their patio. He was very upset that we had "so many people". I had called days in advance to ensure they were prepared for us and was advise we would be taken care of. Instead the owner decided to berrate me for some unknown reason. Will never go back.
We just finished a private tasting with Harold, the owner of Hidden Bench. He was personable and knowledgeable. Not only were the wines delicious but they also grow their own grapes, all organic. This should be a stop on your wine tour!
My wife and I made a reservation at Hidden Bench to have their Charcuterie Board and a glass of wine for lunch today. What an outstanding experience!! It was a wonderful day, lunch was amazing, paired perfectly with the wine and the staff could not have been better!! If you are interested in taking the time to taste great wine in a fabulous atmosphere, Hidden Bench is the winery for you!! We will be back!!!!
