This winery is a must .I was in today(Sunday of the long weekend) It was so busy and I must say Carrie never stopped. Always a laugh and smile while also helping serve a BIG bus tour. Thank you for not only great wine but amazing fun service!
My significant other and I reside in the Finger Lakes region of New York. Our region has a ton of wineries. So we decided to go on a wine tour in Canada! Our last stop was at Cornerstone Estate Winery. As soon as you walk through the door, they make you feel like family. The owners are Nina and her father. Nina’s energy is contagious. She really pours her spirit into the wine and the business. This winery not only was our favorite on the tour, but our favorite winery we have been to throughout Finger Lakes, Buffalo Niagara Wine trail, NapaIt’s a hidden gem! They serve classic dry wines, semi sweet wines and sweet wines. We feel wine is all about sharing stories, connection, intimate moments, exploration of taste and they are the true definition of that!! Don’t overlook this little gem!
Just wanted to mention that this great little gem was partially built by my company. Jerry the owner had no complaints, there were no call backs, unfortunately he has still not paid the balance. The work was done in 2010 no interest has ever been charged. Balance owing $10,000 Please feel free to mention this to your friends and the owner. Enjoy the wine it is very good.
Tried to open up a bottle of bubbly white. Lossened the cage before I had a chance to pop the cork the bottle exploded the cork released itself from the bottle and hit the ceiling. Thank Hod no one was hit. A very scary feeling. The contents of the bottle silled out all over the table. The bottle had not been shaken. Actually sat on the table for quite awhile. Another time a bottle of wine had a cork that was so dry and tough it could not be opened properly. Will not buy their wines again
I went there last weekend for a tasting for my first time, I am very happy I did. They had a very impressive list of wines to sample and each was better than the last. If having great wine wasn't enough the service was also terrific. If you're lucky enough to have Nina wait on you then you WILL have a great experience, she was such a kind, down to earth, funny and warm person. I can't wait to go back there and I can't wait to open the bottles I bought and share them with family and friends.
